Formara Terms
Formara provides a deterministic compliance verification infrastructure. By accessing or using Formara, you agree to these terms.
1. Overview
Formara provides infrastructure to evaluate products against rulepacks and issue verification receipts. Formara does not certify compliance, provide legal advice, or guarantee regulatory acceptance.
2. Definitions
- Operator: entity submitting product data
- Verifier: entity verifying receipts
- Receipt: signed verification result
- Rulepack: versioned evaluation rules
- Submitted Data: all operator-provided inputs
3. Nature of the Service
Formara evaluates Submitted Data against a selected Rulepack and produces a deterministic result. A Receipt reflects system state at issuance and may become outdated as inputs or rules change.
4. No Certification
Formara is not a regulatory authority or certification body. Receipts are computational artifacts and do not constitute legal compliance, approval, or product certification.
5. Responsibility
Operators are responsible for accuracy of Submitted Data. Verifiers are responsible for decisions made based on Receipts. Formara is responsible only for operation of the infrastructure.
6. No Reliance
Receipts are decision-support artifacts. You should not rely solely on Formara outputs where independent validation is required.
7. Service Availability
Formara does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Services may be modified or suspended at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
Formara is not liable for regulatory actions, recalls, business loss, or decisions made based on Receipts. Liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
9. Indemnification
Operators agree to indemnify Formara against claims arising from inaccurate Submitted Data or misuse of the service.
10. Changes
Formara may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
